Included are accident insurance report volumes listing worker names, injury dates, dates returned to work, and related information. Also included are audits, tax records, bills, and correspondence discussing receipt of checks.

The Kansas State Highway Commission was created in 1917 and consisted of three members: the governor, who was the ex officio chairman; and two members appointed by him or her from districts defined by law.
